Flagstone has no beauty (tile is 2 beauty), returns nothing when deconstructing (tile returns 2-3 blocks). So why would you ever build Flagstone instead of tile, even for roads? In that respect, Granite has the highest HP, and is hence best for building of structures and such. Marble has the best beauty values, so may be preferable for furniture and certainly makes a good material for artistic work.
